A long long walk

Arranged with Friend A to challenge the Southern Ridges today. We decided to walk the entire 9 KM route. We parked our car at the carpark B inside Kent Ridge Park. We started walking from Canopy walk and walking all the way to Hort Park before finishing at Mount Faber due to extreme fatigue on both my legs. We started off at 11am and ended at 1pm to have lunch at Botak Jones which is located along Depot Road.

I don't know how many kilometres of road I have walked today, but luckily I still have the energy and mood to blog. Took some nice pictures at Hort Park and would like to share some of the nice creative planting. Enjoy!

On top of Mount Faber..

Got to be quiet when you pass by there..ok?

The Bridge to nowhere..

Reminds me of Twin Towers in some show..;)

Life saver in a hot weather like today..

Got snack vending machines nowsdays...

Please run as hard as you can when a branch falls off a tree..haha as if we know..

Creative gardening..

Lunch at Sengat Seafood Resturant [Teluk Sengat]

During our trip to Desaru, we did stopped by Teluk Sengat for lunch at the Sengat Seafood Restaurant. A bit of intro..Teluk Sengat is a sleepy small town overseeing the calm, blue and windy sea. The seafood restaurant was easy to find, and after one a half hour of driving, we were starving. So, we got down to ordering as soon as we set our asses on the chairs.

They even have brochures advertising their specialties.

Imagine this, an open air restaurant, situated at the higher part of the town. Cooling sea breeze blowing softly on our hair. We could smell the ocean. It was incredible. And when the food arrived, we quickly devour away every dises that come along.

Dishes we ordered as listed below:

2 varieties of Crabs - Butter and Curry flavours..

The cereal prawns were only so-so...

The fish was very fresh as they got their supply directly from the nearby fishmongers.

The rice looks so delicious especially when we are hungry.

SGFemale was so happy to pick up the giant crab 'Gong'..it is her favourite portion of the crab.

If this restaurant has a branch in Singapore, I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
